Saltworks Community Outreach

This program is specifically designed to meet the needs of our local community.  Saltworks seeks to find ways of making contact with members of the local community and to share the gospel of Jesus with them.

Free Community Meals - The major Saltworks initiative is the Free Community Meals programme.  We supply free meals each Friday at 6pm for anyone who would like to partake. These meals are funded by the Parish and also receive grants through the City of Greater Bendigo Welfare Grants.

A School Holiday Program under the Saltworks banner runs during some school holidays.

The name Saltworks comes from Jesus command to Christians the be the Salt of the Earth.  Jesus called Christian people to be a positive influence to those around them.  Saltworks seeks to be that positive influence in people’s lives.
