Paul Fletcher Born 1962 ,Victoria Australia.
Paul has been creatively involvedfor the last  20 years in experimental music and short film/multimedia projects.
Between 1980 and 1989 Paul was a drummer and occassional Clarinet wrangler in a performing and recording experimental music group called "Essendon Airport". During this time he also produced many limited edition screenprint posters, greeting cards and LP record covers as well as making many short animated and experimental films.
Paul’s short films have been exhibited locally (State Film Centres, St Kilda and ATOM film festivals) as well as International Festivals such as  Prix Leonardo(Parma Italy), Jazz Bit Sweden, Okomedia,Freiburg Germany. Three of his films that have received international festival screenings are "TecnoBunny", "Watch this space" and "Virtual shopper". A full filmography is available at his web site.

In 2002 Paul worked  as part of the "Artist in Schools" projects.This "Tales from two schools" project  took place at two rural primary schools, over an intense  seven weeks.  "Tales from two schools"  produced a cd-rom,video and web based production of the childrens animation and stories.
Recent projects have also included a collaboration with an orchestral Percussionist ,Peter Neville, and a SoundDesigner/ Max Programmer,Roger Alsop. This team have been working on a research project combining the integration of live music performance and interactive filmic projection. This project has included an intriguing performance involving a prototype of an interactive onscreen digital Conductor, with a midi guitarist/soloist and a string quartett.
Paul is currently continuing his own personal film projects,including "11 Dimensions" + "Cloudwatchers", teaching Animation production and working on soundtrack compositions for other local short animated  film productions.

Personal Dimension.
Paul  lives with his wife,two fun filled young daughters and various small livestock, in a small country  town with a population of just over 400 residents. He has a strong interest in designing and growing home gardens full of fruit ,nuts,herbs and vegetables.    
"For three days of the week I commute by train, two hours each way to a teaching and production supervising  job  in the middle of the city. Here  at the Victorian College of the Arts Film and Television School I teach and supervise all manner of Animated short film productions . Meanwhile on the train I do alot of learning and production of digital sound and moving  image  using  my portable lap-top (i-book) studio. This portable studio is based extensively on  U+I software tools including Metasynth,Metatrack,XX,Artmatic and V-track."
