First of all I must
apologise for not keeping the newsletter going but things in my life had been very hard
and very busy. However I still wish to carry on the Newsletter but it will take a slightly
different form.
The website is still up
and running at http://users.impulse.net.au/aspenglow.
As it is so long since I
have done anything with the Family History I bet there is a lot that has happened . New
births, marriages and even deaths. If anything new has happened in you family over the
past few years then please let me know and I will add to the Family Tree. Do not forget
that the Family Tree is available to anyone who would like a copy.

There are some tributes I
need to make and acknowledge at this time.
!. My Mother, Marie Therese L'Huillier on 18th August 2005.
2. My Aunt, Marie Brooklyn L'Huillier on 23rd November, 2004
3. My Aunt, Mary Ellen [Shiela} L'Huillier on 21st Mar, 2007.
4. My Uncle, John Francis L'Huillier on 3rd March, 2007.
5. Michael Karl L'Huillier. on 20th June 2008

Marriages:
Emma Kennedy to Tim in
2004
Melissa Kennedy to Jason
in 2005

Births :
Lachlann Owen Sept, 2005
Jaidyn Olivia July 2007.
These precious
grandchildren are the children of Emma and Tim.

As you can see
these events all happened in my family. Please let me know what has happened in yours so
that I can add them to the Family Tree.

Now that we are
only a click away in the internet I would love to hear any interesting stories of any
member of your families. These stories are cherished and as the Baby Boomers get older
there is not many of the previous generation let.

Please take note
of the new email address and postal address.
For anyone who does not
have the Internet I ask that if some kind family member could print out a copy of the
Newsletter and pass it on. Thank you all so much.

Tips for preserving your own Family History
Each time I write the
Newsletter I will give you a tip on how to preserve your own Family History.
No. 1 Photos.
Digital Ones - Keep two copies. One on a disc or Memory
stick and the other on a disc in a box in a safe place. Keep in a dark and humid free
place away from sunlight. Even keep at another location
.Old Family Photos.
Write on the back who is
in the photo and when it was taken. Also keep in a dark and safe place.
E.G. This is a photo of my Mum at Myrtle Streeet.
Date unknown.
Photos in those albums that
stuck the photo to the back and had cellophane ove the photo
Photos have stuck to these
albums, then get a hair dryer and put on warm and let the air flow over the photo until it
becomes loose and you can peel it off easily. Let it dry and flatten by placing under
heavy items and then keep with other photos. Instead of keeping in archive boxes then keep
in archive photos albums.

Hope you have fun and
enjoy going through your old photos.
Remember that Photos are
taken during happy times.
